MYRA, desk using as less material and machines as possible.

The intention while designing the „MYRA“ desk was to create a furniture using as less material and machines as possible.
To achieve a stiff table, it‘s necessary to bend the quite thin material.
To enable the bending of the desktop it‘s covered with synthetic leather.
Given that the legs are under tension and the desktop is edge bended, the desk is quite strong although it‘s entirely made of only 6.5 mm thin plywood.
