FAQ

To enter the competition the project must be unpublished: what do you mean?

With the definition of unpublished we mean a product that hasn’t already been submitted to other competitions or public events / exhibitions / fairs and that wasn’t published in any magazine or website (excluding the designer’s website/blog). You shouldn’t have received any income from the publication of the project and there mustn’t be any existing contracts with manufacturers nor distributors for the economic exploitation of the product’s intellectual property.

May I submit more than one project?

It is possible to submit more than one project, all the files must be uploaded before the application deadline (set at 6 PM (GMT+1) of November 16, 2015). The competition documents submitted by applicants shall not be signed or be identifiable or ascribable to their owner. They shall be labelled using a numeric code created by each applicant (or group) in the following manner: a number of six digits placed in random order with no more than two identical digits (e.g. 141526). If you want to enter the competition with more than one project you must assign a DIFFERENT NUMERIC CODE for each product. Remember that the competition is anonymous, therefore we invite you to be very careful and to assign the correct numeric code to each project.

How will the 5000€ prize money be paid?

The winners will sign a contract with Trentino Sviluppo and the payment will occur in two phases: an initial advance then a refund to be received at the end of the product’s development. The winners will receive additional information after the panel’s decision.

How will the winners be announced?

The winners will be contacted personally by email and/or phone using the data entered during registration. Afterwards they will be announced publicly.

The application form is available here: http://www.designhub.it/puntodesign/en/submit/

E_ BIO: a short profile of the designer or the group who presents the project (Italian/English).
We remind you that the documents A_IMAGES, B_TECHNICAL DRAWINGS, C_DESCRIPTION, D_TECHNICAL SHEET must be ANONYMOUS, so it is possible to add a name/logo for the product, but is important NOT to sign, rename or mark the submitted documents with personal data (eg.
