This concept by Andrew Ferrier is a clear example of how a good interface (dotted leds) can become an element of interaction. In fact, the interface is basically an information panel for the product, an alarm clock. This interface becomes a light when the device is taken from its base and moved around, basically becoming a torch that can be used at night. Maybe the use is not strong and the real scenario of use doesn’t require this solution, but the way a “screen” of information becomes and active element is still interesting.
